Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Place the butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and put it in the oven for the butter to melt.
  • Place the eggs, milk, flour, salt and vanilla in a blender and process until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the baking dish with the melted butter. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
  • Carefully, remove from oven and sprinkle generously powdered sugar.
  • Serve with whipping cream, fresh fruit and syrup if desired.
