Sweetened whipped cream and chocolate shavings make it a little cooler, and a little extra creamy and decadent, but it is delicious even on its own.

Whisk cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt together until well combined.

Slowly whisk in cream and egg yolks until well incorporated.

Heat milk, sugar, and coffee, over medium heat. Stir with a whisk until the sugar dissolves.

Whisk it into the cocoa mixture. Return to pot and cook until thickened. Refrigerate until set.

Serve with whipped cream and enjoy!
