Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Its name is not super creative – the original cake was made with a pound of each of butter, flour, sugar and eggs. And it’s delicious – with a pound of butter and sugar how could it not be – so it is no surprise it has stood the test of time. This cream cheese pound cake recipe is sure to be your new favorite.

Cream cheese pound cake is buttery rich with a golden crust and moist, delicate crumb. It's perfect enough to enjoy for breakfast or dessert. This recipe has quickly become everyone's favorite!

Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar until doubled in volume. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder, salt, and milk.


Transfer batter to a bundt pan and bake at 325°F for 1 hour 25 minutes.


Cool cake on a wire rack before slicing.
