Coconut Cream Pie

This coconut cream pie features a thick and creamy coconut filling nestled in a homemade flaky pie crust and topped with sweetened whipped cream and toasted coconut.

Whisk sugar and egg yolks together until smooth.


Add cornstarch and whisk until smooth.


Cook the mixture with milk and coconut milk until thickened.


Add the filling to a prebaked pie shell. Cover and chill 4-6 hours until filling is set.


Just before serving, top with whipped cream and toasted coconut.


This coconut cream pie recipe really could be called a coconut DREAM pie… it’s just that good.
