I love to enjoy a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. The warm roasted aroma comforts me with each sip. Folgers® has been a part of this morning routine for as long as I can remember. In fact, I was only five years old when I began learning how to brew coffee. I would make a pot of Folgers® for my Godmother and we would sit in bed while she sipped her morning coffee. On rare occasions, she would allow me to sip a small amount of coffee with her.

I’m partnering with Folgers®, one of my favorite coffee companies, to promote the Limited Edition Collector’s Can. It’s available for a limited amount of time and can be found exclusively at Target.
I’ve loved Folgers® since I had my first taste 28 years ago. It’s become a familiar favorite and seeing this Collector’s Can really takes me back. While I still enjoy a cup of Folgers® every morning, my routine has changed quite a bit over the years.
A peek into my current morning routine
I head straight to the kitchen the minute I get up to brew a cup of coffee. When using a quality coffee like Folgers®, it’s important to choose the right brewing method. I often gravitate to my French press because it yields a wonderful cup of coffee.
I like my coffee dark and strong because I often add flavored creamer or heavy cream and don’t want to lose that rich classic roast flavor. This is how I was taught to drink Folgers® so I tend to always stick to that.
Most of you know how I feel about breakfast. I’m not a big eater first thing in the morning. Sometimes I opt for a banana and other times I’ll choose a yogurt. I also have days where I skip breakfast all together and enjoy a bowl of oatmeal topped with fruit for brunch.
I like to take my time in the morning. I don’t want to rush through the process of waking up. Because of this, I’ll wake up a little earlier than needed in order to give myself some time to enjoy my coffee and plan out my day.
I’m a pen and paper gal so I often turn to my notebook to make a list of tasks that need to be completed or I’ll brainstorm recipe ideas for the day.
This is also my “quiet time”. As an introvert, I need time alone to sit and be inside my head for a while. It recharges me with enough energy to get through the day.
Once I’ve completed my brainstorming session, I’ll jump in the shower and make myself look somewhat presentable. Sometimes that involves a light BB cream and other times I need to break out the full coverage concealer.
After I’ve made myself presentable enough to face the world, I’ll sit down with my laptop and check emails. Usually by this time I am craving a second cup of coffee. But for me, coffee is only partially about the caffeine and almost entirely about the taste and aroma!
I encourage you to head to Target and grab the Limited Edition Collector’s Can so you can join me for a quite morning coffee routine with Folgers®. Take advantage of this Cartwheel offer while it’s available.

Add coffee to the press and pour in hot water. Stir gently.
